- What kind of consumer do you sell to? Let's narrow this down and get your targeted mailing list. For example, Women aged 25-45 who make an annual salary of $40,000 or more and own their own home.
- Do they live in a certain area? A good way to figure this out, if you're not sure, is to go through your invoices, find your best customers and then survey them to find out all about them?
- How old are they?
- Where do they live?
- What is their annual income?
- Do they own their own home or do they rent? You may want to survey as many as 100 of your customers in order to see the most common denominators. For instance you may find that their incomes vary but they all fall between ages 25 and 45 or that they're all married or most are married.

What type of business do you sell to?
